Illustrating a Christmas gift card gives me so much joy. Here i could use the worm-cool palette without limits and make the new path bright and hopeful.
The wall styles and cracks are a common theme in my works. The adventure game The Dig was a big influence.
I went though quite some iterations to get the feel of the piece.
