A caricature of my friend Carlos. After spending wonderful vacations in Spain, him being our tour guide and host in Madrid, I just needed to make a special present to show our gratitude. As he is my fellow freaky friend of all the possible you could imagine, I just threw some into one pot and this is what came out. Could you guess some of his favourite games and movies? The Cheese army comes from his allergy to this milk product. =)

I wanted to develop a new approach to watercolour, due to its restriction with adding highlights and for me head-breaking adding and adding colour to get to the correct one. I drew the main colour surface, then drew all the detailed illustration with sketch pencils, fixed it, then adding watercolour again and finished it with painting highlights with titanium white Acryl. Booink!
